The Reactor Meltdown in Area 51 [Part 4]

A loud “BOOM!” was what everyone including the scientist heard from the power plant. Parts of metal was on the ground. Some of it was even on fire.

The scientist lay unconscious on the ground. People were crowding around him saying, “is he alive?” and “someone call an ambulance!”

He could barely keep his eyes open, the last things he saw was smoke, concrete, metal and fire.

The next thing he knew were doctors saying, “get this man on life support!” He was being wheeled around areas in the hospital.

Then he heard, “sir can you hear me?!” someone said.

The Reactor Meltdown in Area 51 [Part 3]

The nuclear reactor scientist runs out of the room thinking, “I can’t be afraid.” He starts having flashbacks of when the siren was ringing through the corridors, commanding everyone to evacuate the industry. He just barely manages to snap back into reality.

“Things are getting red hot in here!” he says, “it’s urgent that I escape.”

He sees the green that reads “exit” in pure L.E.D light. Just as he’s close, another voice rang through the corridors. “Self-destruct in 3-2-1!” Just before it hit one, the scientist jumped at the doors and crashed through them.

Then, there was a loud BOOM!

The Reactor Meltdown in Area 51 [Part 2]

The more the scientist ran the more sweat ran down his face. He ran past a corridor labelled 9F and inside was shattered glass all over the floor.

He looked around; there was green goo everywhere, it looked like the glass came from a large cylinder. Underneath was a sign that said: Caution! This class V alien. It is attracted to all sorts of light. All personnel must confirm that the light in this room must be turned off.

The scientist kept looking around. He noticed a dead scientist on the ground, and that the lights were on. He thought to himself, “what did I tell you about the lights…”

The Reactor Meltdown in Area 51

A loud “ding-a-ling-a-ling” Rang through the long, metal corridors in Area 51. The reactor in corridor 384 is having a meltdown! You have 10 minutes before it explodes. This is not a drill, I repeat, this is not a drill! Please evacuate!”

“Oh no!” Said the overwhelmed scientist, “things are getting hot in here!”

He runs through rooms with all sorts of different species. Mutant octopuses, fish, birds. But the most dangerous: a green alien.

The scientist is thinking what happen in the future; when the laboratory explodes, and the aliens escape.

His heart is beating fast and sweat dripping heavily down his face…

The Hat Shop Rush

“I cannot wait to go to The Hat Shop!” I say feeling super excited.

I get in my shiny red car, sit in my beige seat and start the car.

Since it takes about 30 minutes to get to The Hat Shop, I turned on the radio.

“For all those shoppers out there, this is news for you! Every item in the shop is now 20% off!” The reporter said. “So you better get there quick because the offer ends in 10 minutes!”

“Oh no…” I say looking at my watch, “I don’t know if I’ll make it in time…”

The Abandoned Museum

“Oh man I cannot wait until I arrive at the National Museum!” I say feeling so excited I accidentally nudged the car into the other lane and I heard a loud honk!

After 15 minutes, I finally arrive. I get out of my red car, walk into the museum and hand in my ticket.

“Proceed sir.” Said the security guard with a deep voice.

First I look at the ancient dinosaurs and bones, the the thousands of years old pharaohs, then I have lunch and then when it’s nearly night, I walk to the exit, and, the lights go out and everyone drops to the ground.

I hear a loud “growl!”

The Day I Was Yellow 4

My mum and I walked out of the ward and into the car. “So that’s it mum, I’ll be yellow forever…” I say feeling very sad.

“Sadly, yes.” She says not knowing what to do.

When we got home, I had an idea. I ran up into the attic which had scary and abandoned books.

I started pulling books off the shelf, until, I found it. Diseases of planet Earth.

I flick pages until I find Coronavirus or COVID19. One of the symptoms was turning yellow.

“Oh my…” I felt explosive. I grab my phone and type up: Coronavirus vaccine. It says they are currently making it.

All I have to do is wait.

The Day I Was Yellow 3

“Okay, I’ll get you a doctor immediately,” said the receptionist with a rush.

Five minutes pass, “can I have the young man that is yellow please?” the doctor asks. Everyone looks confused until I stood up and walked with him to a ward.

“Goodness me, this is unusual! What happened?” The doctor exclaimed.

I start explaining the story, “So yesterday I got out of bed, walked to the bathroom and looked into the mirror and what I saw was terrifying:  I was yellow!”

“Okay, I might just examine you.” He gets his stethoscope and some other medical tools.

Ten minutes pass… Beep Beep.

“I’m sorry, there is no known cure.”

The Day I Was Yellow 2

My mum and I both think “what do we do?” Every time I look at myself in the mirror I feel more anxious and confused.

“I guess we go to the doctor, and see what he could do.” Then we get in the car and start the 15 minute drive to the doctor.

“Okay, we’re here!” My mum exclaims. But, I just keep on sitting in the car. “Come on, hop out!”

“But everyone will laugh at me…” I say.

“No they won’t!”

We start walking to door, and to the receptionist. “We’d like to book an appointment.” My mum asks.

“My, my this is phenomenal!” The receptionist yells with shock.

The Day I Was Yellow

Yawn! I get up out my comfy bed and walk over to the bathroom, my feet frozen from touching the cold tiles, I look into the mirror and could believe my eyes! I-I-I was YELLOW! My jaw dropped, I scream and my mum comes running, “What is it sweetheart?”

My mum’s jaw also dropped. It just hung there. I’m pretty sure you could see her whole mouth!

“Yeah… I don’t know how this happened, but I knew I was not going to survive school today.” I said instantly picturing all the other students laughing at me.

I was totally doomed.
